Outlook 2003 is having trouble sedning emails with attachments. The
attachments are small so it can't be the size. However, the emails get
returned with this error message:
554 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size

Any ideas how to fix? I've already downloaded the latest fixes.

Define 'small'?

That type of error is provided by the server your communicating with, or
with some other server along the way. Does it happen to every message, or
jsut certain recipients?

Maybe your UNIDENTIFIED e-mail provider doesn't permit attachments for a
freebie *personal-use* account with them.

When composing the e-mail and hitting Ctrl+S (to save a draft copy),
what's the size of the e-mail as shown in the Size column in the Drafts
folder?

Do you have your antivirus program appending some superfluous and
useless text, like "This e-mail has been scanned and found to be virus
free" (which no user is going to believe anyway)?

Are you using templates for your e-mails?

How big is your signature if you are adding one? Including any pictures
in those signatures?
