security warning in internet explorer

Recently I had a virus and Spyware. My spyware and antivirus quaranteed and I
deleted them, now when I open IE I get a security warning that my computer is
been taken over by a remote computer and only will go to a spysheriff
website. Does anyone know anything about this problem this is my first
problem with viruses or spyware.
