Security Warning - Blocked CAB file

When I open IE or Outlook 2003, I get a prompt that says:

Internet Explorer - Security Warning

"Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher".

Name: "ie_name_config.cab" (name is the name of the company)
Publisher: Unknown Publisher

Where is this file coming from? I know I can change IE to allow unknown
publishers, but we don't know where this file is coming from.

Hi,

Control Panel/Internet Options/Programs tab, click the button to manage
add-ons, then disable this one.

Chances are good that if the file is not signed, you may not want it. While
not exclusively malicious, unsigned plug-ins are usually associated with spy
and adware. I would disable it and leave it disabled.
