Having problems with 2 windows updates crashing or really screwing up my
computer.
I use WinXP Home.
I downloaded and installed updates: #823980 and #821557.
After the reboot and logging in process, Windows started in what appeared to
be "safe mode".
I rebooted again and it seemed to work fine for about 20 minutes.
After that, every time I logged in, I got the Microsoft error reporting box
and it said I had a problem
with the ATI Graphic card and that I could get a new driver for it.
I have the newest driver and it seemed to work fine until this update
attempt.
I finally decided to go to System Restore and go back to yesterday and now
it seems ok.........for now.
It does seem that I can't use this update though.
Any ideas?
