yesterday i received via e-mail a September 2003,
cumulative patch. The attachment #Q454874.exe. I
downloaded and installed this patch. Now whenever I open
up my PC, I get an error message. " Memory access
violation in module kernel 32 at 1441:92314724"
the numbers change each time I open the pc, but the error
message is the same.........

Everyone must keep in mind that Microsoft or any other
vendor for that matter will ever email a security update
to you. That's why Windows Update and Office update was
developed. If you ever get any kind of attachment in the
future claiming it's a must install delete. Then update
you anti virus definitions and scan your system
immediately. I am SANS Security certified (www.sans.org
track one) so please understand I'm skilled and in these
matters and knowlegable about security compromise
techniques.

Godd luck and secure computing.
