Security Update KB835732 Downloads Over and Over and Over Again

My computer is set to automatically download windows
updates and then let me know when they are ready to
install. Over the past month it has downloaded "Security
Update for Windowx XP (KB835732)" at least six times. It
supposedly "installs" correctly everytime, but after a
few days it wants to reinstall it.

If anyone could help me fix this you'd be a great help!

Possible solutions:

1 - Delete or rename the folder c:\windows\system32\catroot2

Then do the updates again.



2 - Start/stop the auto-update service.

Start, control panel, administrative tools, services, right click automatic
updates, click stop. Right click again, click start.
