Security Update for Windows XP (KB840374)

I use only Windows XP SP1 for OS. Tonight I successfully
downloaded windows security update KB840374.
Unfortunately installation has been unsuccessful online
or offline over five times tonight. Are there any
programs that might interfere with installation that I
should remove then reload later on?
