Recently, we have had a hacker attack our site. We know
the IP address of the hacker and are looking for
techniques to exclude access to specific IP addresses
within Frontpage. We are currently on a shared hosted
service who indicate that they can not or will not block
a specific IP address. I would like ideas on block a
specific IP address or re-direct it.

I wouldn't know how to do that but if someone has the knowledge to hack your
system, they can change their IP address. Even I can do that - and I'm no
whizkid.

That's correct. Most people use an ISP to connect to the Internet and do not
have fixed IP addresses. In addition, hackers often piggy-back off of a slew
of IP addresses, which makes the IP address of almost no value whatsoever.

Big things are made up
of lots of little things.

FP has no means to do this. You would either have to have your host block
the individual IP address or you would have to make your site all .ASP,
ASP.net or PHP, etc. then you can block individual IP addresses via coding.
