security tab not available in XP

I cannot get a Security Tab in place of the Sharing Tab
on any of my folders. I have been told to go to Folder
Options and clear the Use Simple File Sharing check box
but that is not available either. Any ideas?

Simple File Sharing is hardwired in Windows XP Home.
You need to go to Safe Mode to access the Security tab for Windows XP
Home.

Reboot, tapping F8 each second.
Choose Safe Mode at the menu.
