Security System Like Hotmail Etc

Hello all,

You know how, when you create an account on hotmail, gmail etc, they
pop up a graphic with a registration password that is bent and twisted
so that it can't be read by a screen scraper?

I'd like to include one of these in an app I'm writing. I figure that
there would be some good 'free samples' out there to use instead of
writing one, however I'm not sure what they're called to go searching.

Can anyone make a recomendation?
