Security/Permission - FrontPage

Linda

I inadvertently changed something in my
Security/permissions on Frontpage 2000 and the
Security box is greyed out. I read somewhere to go to
programfiles/frontpage/ and change the administrator pw,
but I do not have a
folder in FP to do that. Everytime I try to edit my
website It ask me for
my username and pw. The username and password its asking
me for is not my FTP username and PW...I do not have a
clue what it is. Is there a way to
change the username and pw for FrontPage (administrator)
maybe in the registry ? please help

If the Web you can't open is on your host's computer,
you'll need to contact your host and have them reset
permissions for you.

If the Web is on a local Web server, you'll need to reset
NTFS permissions (i.e. to Everyone Full Control), restart
IIS, and then go back into FrontPage and put the settings
you really want into effect.
