security patch

Is their a new security patch out...I got an email today but it had a paperclip on it so didn't want to open it in case it is a hoax. It says it is from the ms corporation security in the from space. I went to the microsoft web site and scanned to see if any security updates...none showed up

Microsoft NEVER sends patches unsolicited.
The one you received is NOT from Microsoft and likely contains a
virus...delete immediately:
