Security File Corrupt! HELP!

I work for a small local Health Department here in Southern Ohio. We have a
good sized Access database of our birth and death records. Just recently our
registrar's OS (Windows 2000 Pro) corrupted, but the files were recovered.
The db seems fine, I just don't have permissions to do anything. It
previously had user-level security on it. Now the db says I'm logged in as
admin however, I have NO permissions what so ever. When I check ownership, it
says unknown. I don't know much about access, so any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Sheila

Sheila, look at the thread "Regain Lost Shortcut" from Dec 23. If that
doesn't work, post another message.

Hey thanks John. I tried that. Now this is the error I get when I double
click the shortcut:
"The command line you used to start Microsoft Access contains an option that
Microsoft Access doesn't recognize."

"Exit and restart Microsoft Access using valid command-line options."

Can you post exactly what you put for the target of the shortcut? It should
all be on one line, don't be fooled by the word wrap in the email.

OK, I reread the target and noticed that I forgot /wrkgrp thingy. I put that
in and WOOHOO!!! Thanks sooooooo much!!
