Security Centre in XP SP2

I have told the Security Centre not to monitor the firewall as I dont use
one because I am sat behind a router - but every 2 or 3 reboots it seems to
forget this setting and tells me that no firewall is turned on. I have to
then go back in and tell it I have a firewall solution I will monitor
myself.

Anyone else seen this issue or know a fix for it?

Thanks,

Graeme

Open the Security Center and in the pane at the left click on "Change the way Security Center alerts
me" and configure as desired...

Hmmm - I did this but this setting also reset itself following a reboot.

One of my machines does something similar with the volume icon - it forgets
my setting after a reboot or 2. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
