security center service???

Windows XP Pro SP2 with Novell Netware 4.9 SP2 and Zenworks For Desktop
Agent 6.5. Also logged into AD domain.

Whenever I try to start the Security Center service I get this popup:
The Security Center service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some
services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the
Performance Logs and Alerts service.

Is this normal??

Make sure that all dependendant services are running as well. You can
find these services listed in the Properties of the Service.
Also scan the machine for malware with Ad-aware
(http://www.lavasoft.com) and for viruses.
