We have our Macro Settings set to Disable all Macros with notification. When
a user opens a file with macros, they recieve the Security Warning message
bar. Then can then choose the "Options" button to open the "Security Alert -
Macros & ActiveX" window to select their next steps.

Is there a way to bypass the message bar so that users immediately see the
"Security Alert - ..." window? Our users don't notice the message bar.

"Is there a way..." Sorry, not that I'm aware of at this time. I'm with your
users on this one - there are times I don't notice the message bar either.
Probably would have helped if they'd arranged to have it some bright, bold
color that contrasts with the current color scheme in use.

Have you looked into using 2007's ability to designate Trusted Zones and
storing your workbook(s) with code in them? When a file is in a trusted
location, macros are enabled by default regardless of their source or digital
signature status.
