Sections with numbering and differing headings

Word 2003 - on Windows XP.

Document is in sections:
1st Page of each section has no numbering - 2nd page in each section
numbering is continous from previous section - that works perfectly
However on 2nd page of each new section this persons wants the wording in
the header to be different from each previous section. This is where I am
having the problem. Numbering is no problem as I make 1st page different in
each section - but when I make the numbering continous from previous section
on 2nd page of each new section - the wording is same fro all sections as
well.

I trust have explained this OK and would so appreciate some help.

I think I have solved my own problem. The sections did work - I was using Odd
and even Pages as well and did not have enough pages to really see the result
properly.
