section numbering

I am using Word 2000. I want an end result as follows:

Article 2.1
Article 2.2
Article 2.3

How do I accomplish this task? I will need sequential numbering. Whenever
I hit 'ENTER" I get Article 2.1, Article 2.1, Article 2.1. It just keeps
repeating the same number. HELP

I suggest you post on a Word newsgroup. This one is for Access, a relational
database by Microsoft.
