secondary hard drive

my computer keeps saying the hard drive is full even though i have installed
secondary hard drive and it has been recognised by windows? How do i use the
sec. drive?

By hard drive, Windows means that a particular partition has very less free
space. Delete unnecessary files from the primary drive or move some files
from the primary to secondary drive.

When adding another HD, it does NOT add to the capacity of the 1st HD. It is
just another disk/drive to where you can store progs and data.

If you just added the new drive, you have to partition and format it before
use. Start->Run-> diskmgmt.msc and look for unused space in graphical area,
then RClick on it and choose New partition (or was it Add...).

It will create a new "disk" as seen in My Computer, most likely at letter E:
(if you now have C: and CD-drive as E).
