John

I booted up this morning, and it gave me a message that
Secondary Hard Disk 0 and 1 were not found. I now known
that these hard disks are in fact, my 2 CD-ROM drives.
But they were fine last night. I did nothing between then
and now. Now my 2 drives won't work. Can anyone give me
some help, please? Thank you.

Power down your system and open up your case. Look for a
gray cable coming out of the back of your CD-roms. Check
and make sure that they are still plugged in, try pulling
them out and then reseating them. Also check the other
end of the cable that connects to the motherboard and
ensure it is connected as well. Sometimes cables will
work themselves loose.
Check your power cables going to the drives as well. Can
you at least open the cd trays but pushing the open/close
buttons?
Good luck.
