I have 3 HDDs and for some reason CHKDSK runs on D every time I boot even
though it finds no problems with the drive. Anyone here know what's up with
this and how I can properly make it stop? Thanks, Joe

Got 1 reply:
you could have a failing hard disk !
Go to the hard disk manufacturer's web site and download their diagnostic
software
respective to your hard disk. After the test, you will know if the hard
disk is bad or
not..

I did this already and the HDD checks fine. Any ideas?

Run chkdsk /r from Command prompt F8 (Safe with command only) or from
Recovery Console.
