Second Instance of Windows XP

It was necessary for me to install a second instance of Windows XP in a
differently named directory to temporarily get around a problem.

I'd like to remove it and the startup option which defaults to the second
instance installed, unless you deselect it.

How do I do this?

Thanks.

You edit boot.ini (in the root of the C:\ drive) to remove the listing for
the second installation.

You then boot into the version you want to keep, open Explorer and delete
the folders corresponding to the second install.
