Second Hard Drive no longer recognized by Win 2K

Hi all,

I have two hard drives, both set as Masters on separate cables. The
2nd drive is for data storage and is connected to a PCI controller
card. I never installed an OS on the 2nd drive, so I'm out of luck
trying to switch the positions of the drives in the case.

Anyway, all was well until, today, I noticed the 2nd drive no longer
shows up in "My Computer", or in the Device Manager.

I found an online guide that says the first thing to do is to go into
CMOS setup. I don't know how to do this. I pressed F8 and didn't see
anything regarding CMOS setup.

If anyone could please, please help me get my computer to re-find my
2nd hard drive, I would be very grateful. Thank you for any help.

(Oh - the MFT might have been corrupted, according to the Microsoft
Win2K book, either by the August blackout, or by a crash that occurred
a few days ago while I was asleep, which forced me to shut the
computer off without being able to shut down safely.)

Usually to get into the CMOS, you have to press
either "F2" or "Delete". When you first boot your PC, you
should get a messaging at the bottom of the screen that
tells you what to press to get into the CMOS/BIOS.

Thank you, Rock. I'll try it.
