Sec master/slave drive - atapi incompatible...

Redalert

I have a problem with my cd-rom and dvd.drive...
Most of the time when i reboot the computer this message
comes up:
Sec Master drive - Atapi incompatible
Sec slave drive - Atapi incompatible

And then the computer has booted up the cd rom and dvd
rom isn't in the explorer....

In the bios for Sec master drive i push enter and gets cd-
rom and for Sec slave drive i push enter and gets dvd
drive.

What should i do?

You could try setting it in the BIOS to "auto detect". I
recently had the same problem - setting primary slave
to "cdrom" it failed to detect it at boot, but auto
worked no problem

Double check to see if the 2 drives jumper settings are correctly set for
their IDE positions (Master set and Slave set).
