SearchSprint toolbar

Hi all.

This software (SearchSprint toolbar) installed itself onto my machine
without warning or asking permission, and it has totally screwed my system
(WinXP Pro).

This is totally outrageous and I'm so angry. It's like me going into your
house, rearranging the furniture, tearing all the pictures off the walls
and setting fire to it. I have sent searchsprint.com a colourful email
telling them what I think.

I've been trying to restore my system for about 14 hours now. The main
thing is that as soon as I open Explorer, it takes 100% CPU usage and the
system becomes unusable. I found several posts with google about this
subject, but their solutions hasn't helped me, neither does the MS KB.

I managed to uninstall the toolbar, ran AdAware, Spybot, Regclean, and AVG,
but the problem still remains. I have also tried to do several system
restores to different points. That didn't work either.

PLEASE can someone help?

Yes, I read your post entirely......but my post was lacking one part which I
guess when I copied and pasted it from another post on a web site, I missed.
