searching, how to erase the search memory

need some help here, whenever i search something like
even on ebay the next time i go there and click on the
search window my old searches are their. For example, i
search golfing and i go look and great find golfing,
close the window and the next time i go to ebay and go to
search and type just g golfinh pops up. How do i erase
that memory!!!! ASny search i do it comes up even msn.

That's an auto-complete option in IE.

Tools--Interet Options--Content--AutoComplete...
Either disable the things that you don't want auto completed (forms, in this
case) or choose to clear forms, if you'd like to keep the option enabled,
but get the currently remembered items out of there.
