search wierdness

When I try to search for text inside *.prg files using
start/search/files & folders the result is always nil.
if i simply rename the files to say *.txt it works fine.
what's going on?!
Can anyone duplicate this problem or is it just me?

using windows xp pro sp1 + all updates

Just realized that text search works only for *.txt files.
Maybe the antivirus? cant disable it though in this
corp env. its using mcafee enterprise.
Is there some setting somewhere, very wierd!
