Search/Replace rtf text

Paul

I'm looking for a text editor or an advanced rtf search/replace utility
which would, for example, search for a string in a text file and make the
whole line containing the string bold or change its color. It would be
also good if it could delete all lines containing the string or copy them
to clipboard. PSPad can copy to clipboard but since it is not a rtf
editor, it can't change font attributes.
Thanks!

TextWedge at http://www.homestead.com/adriancarter/Index.html
goes some of the way towards what you're asking for. It is a text
file splitter, but can work in virtual mode to show you a preview
of the lines it would split at.
Yes, it has a text search capability, and can highlight whole lines
(in colour or underlined or both) where hits are found.
It comes with full source code and project files included. So if
you are a Borland C++ Builder programmer, or know somebody
who is, you can customise it to your own taste.

I use a little program called "Replace All". It's a single small EXE, no
install needed. I can't find it on the web any more, but if you want it, I
can send it to you. Only 68KB.
