Search pane hijacked?

Melissa

I think my IE Browser Search pane has been hijacked. I
have Windows Millennium and IE 6.0. Whenever I click the
search button on IE it shows 9 porn links and the search
slot only returns porn sites no matter what I type. It
appears to be from count.paycounter.com. I have tried
adaware and spybot but they don't find anything. I'm
pretty sure it is in the registry key but I can't find or
figure out which one to delete. Any help is greatly
appreciated.

I couldn't find anything on paycounter other than it
tracks (a cockie). However, the symptoms you describe
certianly sound like you have Spyware/Garbage. I don't
understand why Ad-aware and Spybot are not finding
anything. Are the programs you have UPDATED? If not,
update both of them and scan again. Also did you do a
Virus scan? Update your AV program and scan with that
too.
You can try this:
CWShredder -

Here is a couple online scans you can try:
