Search opening when I click on a folder in Windows Explorer

When I click on a folder in windows explorer, the search window opens up
instead of the folder I clicked on. How do I stop this from happening?




regsvr32 /i shell32.dll this did not work for me.

1. Start Registry Editor (regedit).
2. Locate and then click the Default value under the following keys in the
registry if this problem occurs with folders:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
3. In the right hand pane right click on the default value and,Click
Modify
4. Type none in the Value data box, and then click OK.
5. Quit Registry Editor.
