Search launched on clicking drive icons

When I double click on a drive icon (not a folder) in My Computer, search is
launched rather than the contents of the drive being displayed. Search is
now in bold at the top of the right-click menu. How can I change this back
to Open?
It only happens to drive icons in My Computer - folders work fine.

Same sort of fix for drives. With regedit.exe open to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
In the right pane, d-click on (Default) and enter the exact four
characters
none

Repeat at
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
and
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
in case those are damaged too
