Search key was not found in any record

I'm using MS Access 2003. When I imported a text file in an existing
database, it came up with an error msg "Search Key not found in any records".

I tried to import the same text file in a new database, everything ok so I
assume the text file itself has no problem. I also tried to import another
text file to the same existing database and the file is successfully
imported. So the existing database should be fine as well. If someone knows
what goes and can help me with it, it will be greatly appreciate.

There doesn't seem to be much information on what causes this error
message. But one possibility is that your database has become corrupt.

First, make a couple of backup copies of your database.

Then try Compact and Repair. Does this fix it?
