"search" is not present anymore after clicking in start button

hi
when i click on my start button i haven't got anymore "search" which
appears and i cant do any search. even if i do a right clic in the files
explorer search is not present anymore

I d like to to restore this without doing a system restoration

For information

i did 4 complete scans with nod 32
i did scans with pest patrol , ad aware spybot and spyware doctor and
everything is ok on my computer

no malwares, no spyware, no virus, no worms, no trojans ...

Right click on the Start button select Properties,
Start menu select Customize,
Select Advanced Tab,
in the menu items scroll down to Search and check it.
