search from address bar

I used to be able to search using the address bar, but
now I get a page that says site could not be found. The
instructions on advanced options did not solve this
problem. Can anyone help me?

I get the same error and trying the suggestions to fix the default
SearchURL setting do not fix the problem.

I know for a fact that I started seeing this problem after clearing
out a hijack program that tired to take over these settings. Does
anyone know of a way to restore IE to all it's original registry
defaults? Would really be helpful.

Restore Search

Download it and then right click it and choose Merge.
