I used a template to create all pages on the site.

Have submitted the URL to google.

Is my meta wrong?

It is not an instant response- it may take awhile (days, weeks, or months)
to become listed. If you want to further prod google, get their webmaster
tools and/or analytics

Cheers Mike,
Does the source look ok?

Meta tags are only a minor factor. More important is text content which
contains the keywords you expect people to search with. Good, clean code is
helpful. Links *to* your site are helpful. Regardless, expect to wait
weeks/months and to continue to watch and tweak the site before getting good
search engine results.

Also, be realistic as to what terms you want to be found under. For
instance, it looks like "Till Hill" will give you a lot of competition.

Google Analytics is useful (and free). Google AdWords is useful, and costs
money.

Whilst this won't guarantee a high listing, set up an account with Google
Webmaster tools, (http://www.google.com/webmasters/ and use the 'Improve
Traffic..' 'Learn More' link) then add your site. Go through the validate
process and also create an XML Site Map. Also read the various topics on
there.

It should at least ensure that Google indexes your site.
