Do you mean the words you inputted or the History?
In IE, tools, Internet Options, general tab, "Clear History" or the content tab,
autocomplete button, "Clear Forms."
You can turn off this option in Search Companion with:
1. Click on 'Start'->'Search'->'Change Preferences'
2. Click on the 'Turn AutoComplete Off' option (last option)
