search 2007 not working

I have office 2007 installed. for some reason, the search has stopped
working in outlook and the explorer search doesn't seem to really find
anything at all. Onenote still can find stuff. But I can be looking at a
contact and try to search on any of the fields and it comes up blank.

Any ideas?

okay, I did all that and I still can find contacts, e-mails that I can see
right in front of me. Any other ideas?
