Seach tool bar has automatically installed

Matt

My seach tool bar along the left side of the screen has
been replaced with something called www.windowenhancer.com
I did not want it changed and cannot seem to get it back
to the default. I have gone through the control
panel/internet options/programs/reset web settings, but
it still appears as my seach tool. How do I get rid of it
and how do I block it from re-installing itself.

Thanks
Matt

Matt -
It appears to be spyware:

Make SURE your Internet Connection Firewall is activated.

You should get anti-spyware software (SpyBot AND Adaware)
and use them regularly (both have free versions). And keep
them updated !

Also download the latest Microsoft Critical Updates
(from Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu and hit
Windows Update) and also run updated anti-virus software.
Scan your computer at least twice monthly !

Good Luck !
