I have a "FUSION" tablet running "kit-kat" o.s. It`s only 16gb capacity. So I`ve bought a 32gb sd card for it.It`s mounted and the tablet can "see" it. But I can`t seem to put any thing on to it.I can`t move files to it or games. Just how does one use these things.
You can tell I`m no tech wizard,so any replies please make them simple.
Many thanks for any replies.

You need to install a file manager app. They are free and they will allow you to transfer other apps and games etc to the SD card from within the tablet

Another way of doing it, is to go to Settings > Application Manager > Choose and App > Click "Move to SD Card". That way you can selectively move large apps to the SD Card. I'd aim to move some of the large, infrequently used ones.

When choosing a file manager app, I'd go for one of the two below, as a lot of the other popular ones are bundled with advertising and have gotten very spammy:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asus.filemanager - This is the one I'm testing on my phone at the moment.

Hello Ian.
Please forgive my long delay in replying to your answer to my query.
The tablet I have has a "File Explorer" It shows both the internal and external sd cards. But what I can`t seem to do is move, for example,a game to the external sd card. I can see a load of green Android files with their names, and I can move them. But I can`t see where to put them.
I`ve gone into Settings but I can`t see ....>choose app>click "Move to SD card" I only wish it were that easy!!
I wonder if one of the ones` you mention would be easier to use?
Many thanks Ian.

Does the page look similar to this, just without the "move to SD" option?

I'm not familiar with how to move an app using a file manager app on KitKat, but perhaps @TriplexDread or @V_R will know how :).
