Scrolling Windows

Hi there,

I am trying to establish how to change wavy scrolling to
smooth scrolling in these windows we open in Win XP Pro.
When we try to scroll pages either internet or word or
any document, the text scroll wavy. It really hurts eyes.
Is there any way I can scroll smoothly rather wavy.

Thanks,
afzaidi

In the Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced toggle
the "Smooth scrolling" setting. On some systems disabling this setting
will let you get better results.

Suggestions:
o There is a smooth scrolling option in Internet Options. Turn it on. Not
sure it will help in other programs but it won't hurt.

o Check mouse settings for scrolling: Many have settings for 1 line at a
time, 3 lines at a time, or one page at a time.

o Check your monitor's refresh rates. Use the best refresh rate that you
can without any degradation of display quality.

o Check for updated display drivers for your display adapter

o System Properties> Advanced> Settings> Visual Effects: Try turning some
of the fancier extras off to see if there's any improvement. You could
start with the "best performance" selection and add one of your favorite
extras. Test scrolling. If still smooth, add another feature and test
scrolling again.
