Scrolling text

Hi there.

Looking for some help please. I'm using PPt 2000 so don't have the credits
animation available. Instead, per some past topics posted, I have a text box
and have typed the lines that I would like to scroll across the slide.

I've selected the text box and selected crawl as the effect. However, the
text is going too fast and I can't control the timing. Any suggestions
please? Is there a template out there that someone has created that can be
of use?

Don't think you can set the speed apart from what has been provided in 2000.
"Very Slow" is the slowest you can get.
