How do you correct this problem: When you scroll up or
down, it looks like a wave is moving across the page, i
need for it to be smooth scrolling. Can anyone please
help me I've been trying to resolve this for weeks
through help and support but can not find any info on
this. I have two computers both have xp and my other
computer works fine. Can it be this flat screen 19"
monitor perhaps??
Thank you in advance
Melissa

Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer
or video card and download/install the appropriate Windows XP
drivers.

Afterward, right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Setting and adjust your Screen Resolution
settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".

What brand and model of flat panel is it? A low quality flat panel may cause
similar effects.

Are you referring to a specific application? Some apps have a setting
(Internet Explorer, for example) that specifically sets smooth scrolling.
If so, please post which app(s) specifically you're looking to change.

I found that changing my 'Display Effect' setting to 'ClearType' helped a lot.

To do so - select display in the control panel
select Display -> Appearance -> Effects -> Smooth Edges to 'ClearType'

Changing this option made my scrolling work better.
