Scrolling at random... HELP!

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have an infuriating problem! My screen just
scrolls randomly. It doesnt matter whether I'm in I.E. or Word or iTunes or
whatever, but whatever I have in front, the active one, as soon as I put the
mouse on the page it starts scrolling down and I can't do anything about it!
It jumps around all over the place and no matter how hard I try, I can't get
it to scroll to the place I want. I need to click off of the page somewhere
before it'll stop. I've tried reinstalling the mouse and the keyboard and I
cant really think what else it can be. Help me please! It's driving me mad!

If you've not done so yet; you might want to try another mouse. The optics
in yours may be mucked up; and if it is a scroll type mouse the scroll
section
may be messing up.
