Scrollbar page-down function skips a page in IE6

A couple of months ago, the scrollbar in IE started acting funny. When I
click below the slider to page down, it goes down two pages instead of just
one. Also, this Outlook Express window I'm using to compose this message
has the same problem.

But page up works fine: clicking above the slider correctly pages up only
one page. And ordinary applications (like WordPad) still page correctly
both ways.

Any idea how I can get the IE scrollbar to return to a normal page down
function?

Download the newest security release for ie6. This has been noted to fix
your issue.

It does fix the problem. I installed the release
yesterday, and noticed tonight that my scroll down is
working correctly.
