Machine running winXP Home edition starts up with the message that
scrngrd.exe has encountered problems-----
Sounds like a screen saver or something ??

Have you virus checked your system with the latest definitions for your Anti
Virus program?

Thank you for the help.
It would appear that the machine is infected with the W32/Rbot-AA Worm.
So Far have not been able to get a virus checker (F-Prot or AVG)to run
either in normal mode or safe mode.
Have deleted all references to scrgrd in the registry but still not able
to run anti virus.

six others---my friends AV was not working !!!!!!!
