My machine starts up with a message that its running scripts.

I want to know what they are and what they are doing.

Please advise how?

The exact message would help enormously in diagnosing the problem.

Go to Start/Run and type msconfig and click OK. Click the Start Up tab
to see the list of applications that start when you boot the computer.

Let us know what you find.
