Script to automatically add the personal contacts into a outlook 2003 profile

Hello,

I have a problem regarding the "greyed out" option of
showing a users personal contacts when choosing recepients
for an email.

I know that it's possible to add a users personal contacts
to the list where the global adress book is displayed by
manually adding it in the control panel -> mail ->
additional adress books

However, because we're going to roll out Outlook 2003 on
around 500 Clients, we need this to be scripted.

Does anybody have a script that automatically adds the
users personal contacts (Control Panel -> Mail -> Email
Accounts -> Add a new adress book -> Additional Adress
Books -> Outlook Adress Book)

and also automatically flags the option "Show this folder
as an e-mail adress book" in the Contacts Properties in
Outlook 2003?

I know, it's a bit hard to describe but I'd be thankful
for any hints on how to achieve this.

Have you looked at the Office Resource Kit for Office 2003? I believe that
they have a CIW that gives you this option.

Thanks for the quick reply. We did use the Resource Kit
and the CIW, however the only option resembling what I'm
looking for is the option "Migration Options: Convert
Personal Adress Book (PAB) to Office Adress Book"

I need that option, but using the OAB (Outlook Adress
Book) instead of the Personal Adress Book. (Because our
users contacts are stored in the Outlook Adress Book)

Does an option like that exist in the Resource Kit?
Because we sure didn't find it yet.

Best Regards,

As Milly said, you can include the Outlook Address Book among the components
included in the profile distributed with the installation, using the CIW.
