Script Errors on Web Pages & IE7

WXP Pro SP2, NAV 2005, Ad-Aware Pro, IE7 12 Hr Install.

Everytime I open IE7 I get an IE Script Error. I wasn't able to locate a NG
for IE7 perhaps someone would direct me pls although his problem isn't
isolated to IE7.
I was getting Script Errors too on Web Pages while using IE6. Big time!

In IE Options, Advance, I've got a check marks against Disable Script
Debugging IE, and Disable Script Debugging Other.
The square is unchecked for "Display a Notification about every script
error.

NAV 2005: I've unchecked "Enable Script Blocking".
Ad-Aware/Ad-Watch: I have every Blocking Option turned off.

Is it possible some setting in my registry is corrupt? It's like none of
the changes I've done re settings have any bearing on the problem whatsoever.

I've sent the URLS to many of the problem sites to a friend and she isn't
getting Script Errors.

I was going to reinstall or perhaps uninstall IE7 as the Script Error
appears immediately on a plain dark blue window upon opening before my Home
Page loads.
Preferably I'd like to learn of a solution to the root of the problem. Any
suggestions ... PLEASE!!!

Browsers are "container" applications. They display content downloaded
from websites. They do not create scripts - these are fed to the browser
by the site (or installed browser helpers). On your end, you can try
disabling you browser helpers (Tools> Manage Add-Ons). You can also
clear your cache using Tools> Options> General> Temporary Internet
Files> Delete (check box to include offline content) and click OK at the
prompt.

Search these two sites for additional troubleshooting for script errors.

Here, we can another problem:

I have a couple of Linksys webcams running on my wireless 802.11g
network, and i can access and view them with no problem in IE6. But,
after installing IE7, I can get to the cameras' embedded home pages,
but if I click to view the image, it will not display, and I get the
following error messgae from IE7:

Line: 77
Char: 4
Error: Object doesn't support this porperty or method
Code: 0
URL: http://192.168.1.45/main.cgi?next_file=img/main.htm

Have any idea what's causing this or how to remedy?

Thanks.

Call off the dogs. Fixed.

IE7 made me reinstall the camera's activex script. Now, works fine.

Another outside source - other software. Am glad to see that you got it
fixed.

Hi Sharon, I didn't intentionally leave u in limbo not knowing the results
of my efforts but I really don't want to tell u what I did with your
instructions to remove the Add-on 'Helpers". OK I'll force myself.
I deleted a couple - note not just the "Helpers" as I wasn't aware of the
different files in there. To me they were all the same. Deleting the first
2 didn't make a difference so I deleted the next 3 - then I swooped them all
outta there! The result of which kept me in a tizzy for a cpl days
uninstalled and reinstalled IE7 twice and too I couldn't get on this site
for days because of my ActiveX settings (wish it told u what to do about it
because u can't enter the Forum to find out) so I deleted all entries in
C:\W\Downloaded Program Files and reinstalled the Flash Player, Shockwave
Player and Java more often than heretofore known to Man.
I'm back to what I consider normal - for me. I have my Home Page appearing
immediately, instead of a Plain Blue Page with a Script Error message, and
I've gotten rid of the extra Search Path on the rt corner of IE.
Everything, to me, appears to be working tickety-boo except ... 2 of my Java
files in the Downloaded Program Files continue to develop yellow marks within
an hr of deleting (in Add/Remove) and reinstalling Java - numerous times.
I've admitted defeat.

You've got a terrific Site. I plan on visiting as necessary. Thx for your
Help! ...

Edna, I'm glad to hear you're back to (as) normal (as can be)! :)

She's quite a fount of information when it comes to Internet Explorer and I
enjoy visiting it too.

Take care!
