Turn off Script debugging in internet explorer. From IE go to tools |
Internet Options | Advanced. Check the two disable script debugging options
and uncheck Display a notification about every script error.

Hi,
1= Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on Advanced tab then under Browsing Option check these Boxes:
[&] Browsing
[ √] Disable Debugging for (internet Explorer)
[√ ] Disable Debugging for (Other)

Click [OK] after doing your changes and Close the IE window and try the site
again and see if you will get the error.
HTH.
Let us know.

I have followed your instructions to the letter, to no avail.

Is there anything else which could be causing the problem?
I have XP and IE7, if that's any help to you...

Well Snowman, I tried both to be sure it is not the browser, and I didn't
get anywhere, so the problem it seems after all on the website not on your
side.
The first site for windowsMedia message saying Under construction and the
second saying done.
With the second one I don't what Page you did open but I thin it is the
website server side error not your browser not parsing the Script as I
thought.
HTH.

Unless you want to do freelance script debugging...

Open Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
CHECK: Disable script debugging
UNCheck: Display a notification about every script error
Click Apply | Click OK

On XPSP2 it's...
Open Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
CHECK: Disable script debugging (internet Explorer)
CHECK: Disable Script Debugging (Other)
UNCheck: Display a notification about every script error
Click Apply | Click OK

Disable script debugging
[Specifies whether you want to turn off your script debugger, if one is
installed. Script debuggers are used by Web site developers to test programs
and scripts on their Web pages.]

Display a notification about every script error
[Specifies whether to display the actual script errors when a page does not
appear properly due to problems with its scripting. This feature is off by
default, but is useful to developers when testing Web pages.]

Snowman hunted and pecked:

Wesley, how come your posting the same thing I did, which you also quoted in
your reply(right above here)? And the OP already replied those boxes were
checked. I have asked him now to clarify if the 3rd option is unchecked.
What was that about sinning no more? :)

Yes, I have done everything which has been suggested, to the letter,
to no avail as yet. At this point I'd like to point out that I'm not a
complete fool, and I actually found these options before posting, and
had already made the appropriate changes.

I really doubt that this is a server-side issue - are you trying to
suggest that every time someone clicks "update album info" in
wmplayer, they get three of these messages, like i do, or that anytime
anyone in the world launches live messenger, they get a similar
message?

It is the fault of my PC, I'm sure.

Please Help, without giving the same advice again and again! ;)

I'm not sure to whom you're replying, but had you included in your original
post what had been tried, and/or been exact in your reply that the check
from display script debugging errors had also been removed, then I certainly
wouldn't have wasted my time or yours trying to help by posting with info on
what is the normal solution to that problem. Good luck to you.

Rock, the OP stated, "These options were already checked."

But I did not look at his screen shot which shows that options were properly
Checked and UNchecked.

I also did not catch that he's running Windows Internet Explorer 7, which is
probably the problem. ;-)

ok, what's going on..?
I thought the point of this site was to help people who had problems -
stop bickering.
Is there anyone out there who knows how to fix this issue?

Sorry, but If I knew what it was I would have put it in my post. Maybe
someone else will see it and jump in.
