i would just like to know if there is anyway possible to
set a screensaver for my computer if there is'nt anyone
logged on??!!! please help, thanx

If you want to put a screensaver on your desktop while
you are not using the computer , Then go to a empty area
on your desktop and do the following >>> right click >>>
properties >>> click screen saver >>> and now you will
see screen saver in the middle area just use the arrow to
scroll down and select which you would like to use , also
you will see >>> Wait <<<< this is at what time it will
come on when you are not using your computer ( keyboard &
mouse ) ... You can set it for whatever time you like ,
most like it around 10 minuts

Traci,

Yes you can and there is actually already one set - but if you wish to
change it you need to edit the registry.
see the following key
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

You will see the settings for the screen saver and time out.
Just set these as appropriate.

Buddy,

The original poster asked how to put a screen saver on a machine ".. if
there isn't anyone logged on ..."
Your response is only valid for the current logged on user.
The .DEFUALT user profile will need to be changed and this can be done
directly ion the registry.
